HELP
'HELP' A live art installation by Y5&6!
A thought for the new term
However 'together' you may feel like you have it at the moment, there will be a time - as there is for us all - that we need help. Here are three short reflections on the theme to start the new year:
Helping you through the cost of living crisis - Despite government intervention, many families will find this winter a difficult one financially. If times are tough, please do reach out to our family support worker Mrs Sedgwick who will gladly signpost you to the relevant local charity or to St John's Church who have a hardship fund which could offer support.
Helping our school community - The new PTA collective have lots of ideas for the year ahead for events for children and us adults alike (The first of which - Boozy Bingo on Fri 14th October - promises to be great fun!). Please come along to these events and let your hair down a little, and please consider helping at one event this year if at all possible.
Helping your children to flourish - Whilst there is no manual for parenting, as a staff we collectively have hundreds of years of experience supporting children! I encourage you to be open to the suggestions of your child's class teacher as the year goes on - we want to support you to see your children flourish both now and in the future.
It takes us all to see our children have the best start to life, so let's seek to help ourselves and one another in the year ahead.
Mr Chamberlin
